| | NuernbergMesse GmbH, German organizer of the world's leading exhibition for organic food and natural products " BioFach", has started organic promotion activities in China. In co-operation with Chinese organic sector organizations and private companies BioFach aims at contributing to the further development of the organic food and natural product market in China. The Chinese organic industry has already developed a substantial export business which will continue to grow whereas the domestic market for organic food and natural products is still in its infancy.
At present, BioFach China is a Private Public Partnership Project in co-operation with The German Investment and Development Company (DEG) and accompanied by the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements as the patron of BioFach. A BioFach China conference & exhibition is under developement.
BioFach China offers an attractive educational programme including a number of training seminars with agricultural producers, private companies and organizations as well as information seminars with consumers. Stepwise BioFach China will be developed to the leading communication and trading platform for organic food and natural products in China. BioFach China will also connect the Chinese organic sector with the international markets using the other BioFach events in Germany, Japan, United States and Brazil to promote the Chinese organic industry.
Nürnberg Global Fairs GmbH, subsidiary of NürnbergMesse, is responsible for the execution of the BioFach China project and has charged the international consulting firm Organic Services GmbH to implement the project. Nürnberg Global Fairs is already organizer of different exhibitions in China and has already implemented a similar project in Brazil.
Nürnberg Global Fairs co-operates with different partner organizations in China among others the Center for Environmental Education and Communication (CEEC) and the Chinese Greenfood Development Center. These organizations will facilitate the project implementation.
